We know life gets in the way, and you have a world outside the course walls that needs to keep flowing while you’re here, that’s why we’ve built pretty much everything into you just showing up to the calls, even if you’re not completely caught up on the course materials.

Yes! You will receive the certification of “Not shit at NLP”. (And it will be certified by moi with a handy certificate you can plaster on your wall, or lose in a filing cabinet). Why? Because your certification anywhere you take an NLP training is literally worth the piece of paper it’s printed on. The coaching industry is completely unregulated.

Your certification from me will confirm I know you, I see you, I endorse you as a coach, and you have completed this amazing training.

You can use this certification to start your own coaching practise - these are the same tools I have used to run mine for 17 years. You can also show the International Coaching Federation that it meets the code of ethics and use it to contribute towards your ICF accreditation if that feels important to you - but you don’t need it.

What matters is you use it, and use it well - and the way I’m teaching you this in the Be Your Own Coach NLP immersion will make sure you never un-learn what you learn, and you use it everywhere.

My "certification" process will never meet the requirements of the "Board of NLP" - because those requirements demand that all training is to take place in person, and you must attend for a set number of hours in a room. That is, until 2020 hit and NLP schools were forced to go online to complete their hours live on zoom together over a very long week - which sounds... hard, but I digress, That’s not my style, but if it’s yours - this course might not be right for you. Be Your Own Coach is a mix of high quality videos and audios, meetings and coaching session to cover questions and demonstrations, small practise groups, large practise sessions and a practical week long experience - set over 6 months, instead of one short week. We also include ongoing mentoring once the course is complete.

If you wish to be certified by me, you will be asked to complete a few simple tasks to demonstrate your knowledge and ability. Most of these are embedded in the course curriculum, and the rest will be easily completed if you show up for the work and practise during the course. You’ll also have a week-long immersion online where you get to go through the full experience of being coach and client, and you’ll have a test to complete (which is open-book).

We will be here to support you to finish strong and get it right. This isn’t like school - we want everyone to have an incredible learning experience, and to ensure we support you to pass everything with flying colours.

The week-long event will be the week you get to put everything you've learned into a real breakthrough situation, and experience the full effect of what you're capable of as a coach, as well as receiving a complete breakthrough as a client - which is just a important as a coach - to understand what it feels like to be taken through a deep process. It is compulsory to attend, and we've made it as easy as possibly by allocating two time-slots per day, each day, for no more than three hours- to accomodate our international audience and the many other things we know you have going on in your life. I will be there to support you and coach you, so you're by no means expected to be perfect, but if you can't attend, I can't certify you. There are two live coaching calls each Wednesday, held at:

Each module includes around 2–3 hours of content, broken into short, digestible videos (typically 6–9 per module). You can watch, or simply listen to the audio while you walk, drive, clean, cook, stretch, or relax in the bath—whatever works for you.

Only the live calls (around 2 hours, three weeks out of each month) require you to set aside time in one block. The rest can be absorbed in your beautiful in-between moments.

You’ll hear me say this often: let go of doing it perfectly. You don’t need to take detailed notes or fully grasp every concept before moving forward. The content builds on itself. It lands more deeply over time.
